The tournament kicked off for the Panthers early on Saturday, February 15th, with a 7:45 a.m. matchup against the Columbus Jr. Blue Jackets. Setting the tone for the weekend, the Panthers delivered a commanding 8-3 victory. Later that afternoon, at 4:45 p.m., they continued their momentum by shutting out the Smoky Mountain Wild with a decisive 7-0 win.
Sunday, February 16th, saw a thrilling contest at 11:15 a.m. against the Nashville Jr. Predators. In a hard-fought battle, the Panthers edged out their opponents in a high-scoring 7-6 victory, proving their ability to perform under pressure. Later that day, they met the Nashville Jr. Predators once again in the championship game. This time, the Panthers left no doubt about their superiority, securing their second shutout of the tournament with an 8-0 victory to claim the gold medal on Monday morning.
