With the start of the Centennial Cup, just five weeks away, each of the nine leagues that comprise the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL), are well underway in their respective playoffs.
Heading into game action Thursday evening, there are currently 36 other clubs remaining in contention to see who will join the Centennial Cup-host Calgary Canucks (AJHL) at the 11-day event that will be held at the Max Bell Centre, May 8-18, to vie for the national Jr. A title.
We do know there will be a new champion crowned as last year’s Centennial Cup winner, the Collingwood Blues, who were clipped by the Milton Menace in OJHL quarter-final action.
Here is where each CJHL league currently stands in their respective best-of-seven semifinal series:
