The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) has officially announced its 21-player roster for the upcoming 2025 OHL Cup, set to take place in Toronto from March 24 to 28.
The roster features a strong contingent from the Soo U16 Greyhounds, with ten players earning spots on Team NOHA. Forwards Wyatt Jarratt, Jacob Vincent, Nathan Watts, Nico Bossio, Adam Pszeniczny, and injured forward Makks Demodovich will represent the Greyhounds, alongside goaltender Tanner Carriere. Defensively, the Soo U16 Greyhounds will be well-represented with Dreyon Boissoneau, Anthony Carbone, and Frankie Reda patrolling the blueline. Soo U16 Greyhound goalie coach Brian Kment will be part of the 2025 Team NOHA coaching staff.
Beyond the Soo U16 Greyhounds, Team NOHA’s roster is rounded out with players from several other Northern Ontario programs, including the North Bay U16 Trappers, North Bay U18 Trappers, Cooper Cliff Reds, Sudbury U16 Wolves, and the Kapuskasing Flyers.
The 2025 OHL Cup will bring together the top 20 U16 AAA teams from Ontario and the United States for a premier showcase event. All games will take place at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto, with the Championship Final set for March 28 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. The tournament will serve as a crucial opportunity for young players to display their skills in front of OHL scouts and coaches.
