As the last patches of snow melt away in Northern Ontario and the signs of spring give way to warmer days, hockey season may be winding down for some — but for the Soo U10AA Greyhounds, a fresh chapter is just beginning. The U10AA hockey program has officially released its roster for the upcoming 2025-2026 Junior Greyhound season, generating a wave of excitement among local fans, families, and young athletes.
Leading the charge is head coach Matt Chelbus, who returns to guide the next generation of Greyhounds with a renewed vision and high expectations. Known for his commitment to skill development, team discipline, and fostering a positive hockey culture, coach Chelbus is poised to help these young skaters grow both on and off the ice.
