The Ontario Hockey League’s Soo Greyhounds are proud to officially open their 2025 Spring Development Camp on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4th at the Northern Community Centre, welcoming recently drafted players and key prospects to Sault Ste. Marie for a weekend of skill development, team integration, and organizational education.
The 2025 camp serves as a crucial first step in introducing young talent to the Greyhounds’ program, both on and off the ice. Prospects will participate in high-intensity practices, scrimmages, and training sessions led by the Greyhounds’ coaching and development staff, offering a first-hand look at the team’s systems, expectations, and culture.
In addition to on-ice activities, the camp will include off-ice workshops focused on nutrition, fitness, and mental performance, ensuring players leave with a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to succeed at the OHL level.
The Soo Greyhounds remain committed to building a strong foundation for future success, and the Spring Development Camp is a key milestone in that process.
Picks from the 2025 and 2024 OHL Priority Selections along with limited free agent invites will take part in a variety of events ranging from fitness testing, practice sessions, video sessions and scrimmages.
