Over the January 15th to 19th weekend, Sault Ste Marie’s Team MacKay represented the YNCU Curling Centre at the 2025 Northern Ontario Curling Association U18 Provincial Championships in Timmins, Ontario at the McIntyre Curling Club. Team MacKay consisted of Skip Justin MacKay (Sault Ste Marie), Vice Kamdyn Julien (New Liskeard), Second Carter McClelland (Sault Ste Marie), Lead Jake Clouthier (Sault Ste Marie), and Coach Christie McClelland (Sault Ste Marie).

Justin MacKay and Cole Clouthier were part of Team Rajala who are coming off winning the 2025 U20 Provincials in Fort Frances, Ontario over the January 2nd to 5th weekend. Team MacKay will now represent Northern Ontario at the U18 National Championships on February 16- 22 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
