saultsports Bears travelled to Alliston on Friday and delivered a punch to the gut of the undefeated 28-0, PJHL’s no #1 ranked team. A thrilling game start to end, that seen Bears jump out with goals from Parker Orr, Owen VanDusen,Kaiden Szabo, and Jacob Budney, for a 4-1 lead.
Hornets stormed back to tie with just 2 minutes left if 3rd, but it was all for nothing, as Bears star forward Hayden Anderson, won the game for the Bears when he scored the shootout winner, to end the Hornets streak of 28 straight wins.
Goalie Connor Sampson was unbeatable in net as he stopped an incredible 66 shots, and was the Pita Pit, player of the Game. A truly outstanding performance that will go down as one of the best this season.
