Soaring Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) remain No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 rankings
TORONTO – Unbeaten in 12 straight, the soaring Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) once again remain No. 1 in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
With an overall record of 41-5-2-0, the Golden Hawks are currently on course to carry the top seed into the upcoming Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.
Sitting at No. 2 in the listings are the Greater Sudbury Cubs (NOJHL).
Boasting a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League-best mark of 37-4-1-1, the Cubs are tops there in most goals scored and fewest allowed categories at 203 and 90 respectively.
Slotted No. 3 in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).
Rockland, who have won 17 straight games, are comfortably in control in the race for first place overall in the Central Canada Hockey League, with a record of 38-5-1-0.
With victories to their credit in the previous nine outings, Edmundston Blizzard (MHL) are tabbed at No. 4.
Pacing the overall Maritime Hockey League standings at the moment, the Blizzard sport a 38-5-1-1 record.
Capping off the Top 5 are the Leamington Flyers (OJHL).
The Flyers have gone 39-6-2-1 to date and have an OJHL-best goal differential total of 122.
