On Friday, January 17th the Korah P.T.A. Super Bowl draw took place for the Korah P.T.A 15th annual draw and the winner won two tickets to the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday February 9th. Every year this draw is held in front of a packed gym of the entire student body and the winner was contacted live from the gym. Prior to the draw, junior and senior football coaches Marco Bernabucci and Tom Annett had student volunteers compete for prizes as they navigated a football skills obstacle course. Korah’s band Mustang Sally also rocked the event playing and singing tunes from this year’s setlist.
The winner of the 2025 draw was Rachelle Foster. This year’s draw was a huge success and generated over $54,000.00 after expenses. All proceeds will be used to subsidize student activities at Korah.
A huge thank you goes out to the PTA staff, Korah staff, and students who helped organize the draw and distribute and sell tickets. We were fortunate to have 35 local businesses sell tickets at their locations and the support from the community has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the draw. Our students will benefit greatly from their support.
Korah principal told Saultsports that “The money raised and support from the community is overwhelming. People in the community look forward to this draw each year and the chance to attend the Super Bowl or just to support Korah. Over 15 years the draw has generated just over $390,000.00. Money raised goes directly back to the students in support of sports and extracurricular activities. All requests are approved by the lottery and gaming office and typical things that are supported are bus travel expenses, and sports and extracurricular equipment. We are very thankful to the community for their support of this draw. Our students are truly fortunate.”
