On Monday, February 11th, the CASS Huskies traveled to Sault Ste Marie to take on the Superior Heights Steelhawks at the John Rhodes Centre in Sault Ste Marie Girls High School Hockey League semi-final action.
Scoring the lone goal of the contest just sixteen seconds into the opening period was Huskie Kennah Shaw finding the back of Superior Heights goaltender Maika Steinburg to give CASS a semi-final high school win over the Steelhawks. Quinn Petrie and Riley Reed drew the assists on the goal from Kennah Shaw. Huskie netminder Cassidy Cooke earned her third shutout of the girls high school season.

Next up in Sault Ste Marie Girls High School Hockey League will be the Korah Colts taking on the St Mary’s Knights at the Northern Community Centre on Wednesday, February 12th in a 3:30 p.m puck drop.
