The 2025 high school soccer season kicked off in exciting fashion on Monday, May 5, with four games launching league play across both the open girls and boys divisions at Superior Heights.
In the open girls division, the St. Mary’s Knights delivered a dominant performance with a commanding 8–0 shutout over the White Pines Wolverines. The Korah Colts followed that with a strong showing of their own, blanking the Superior Heights Steelhawks 2–0 in a solid team effort.
The junior boys saw the Korah Colts notch a convincing 3–0 victory over the Steelhawks, displaying early promise in the new campaign. The senior boys match between Korah and Superior Heights was tightly contested, ending in a 1–1 draw after a hard-fought battle from both sides.
The action continues on Wednesday, May 7, as week one wraps up with another full slate of games:
- 4:00 p.m. – Superior Heights Steelhawks vs. White Pines Wolverines (Open Girls Division)
- 5:30 p.m. – Superior Heights Steelhawks vs. St. Mary’s Knights (Junior Boys Division)
- 7:00 p.m. – St. Mary’s Knights vs. White Pines Wolverines (Senior Boys Division)
All games will be hosted at Superior Heights, where fans can expect another exciting day of local high school soccer action.
