The Sault Ste. Marie high school basketball scene is set for an exciting night of action on Tuesday, February 11th, as both Junior and Senior Boys Basketball teams take the court for crucial semi-final high school matchups. With the 2025 City Championships around the corner on Friday, February 14th at Superior Heights, these four games are the most important for teams looking to make a strong push to punch their ticket to the 2025 NOSSA Championships.
In junior Boys action, the first-place Korah Colts (9-0) will host the fourth-place White Pines Wolverines (0-9) at Korah Collegiate. The Colts have been dominant all season, remaining undefeated and looking to continue their strong play as they prepare for their semi-final on Tuesday, February 11th. Meanwhile, White Pines will be looking to upset the top team and secure their first win of the season. Across town, the second-place St. Mary’s Knights (6-3) will take on the third-place Superior Heights Steelhawks (3-6).
In senior boys action, the undefeated Korah Colts (9-0) will travel to St. Mary’s College to face the fourth-place St. Mary’s Knights (2-7). The Colts have been one of the top teams in the league, but St. Mary’s will be looking to make a statement and try to spoil Korah’s perfect season. At the same time, the second-place White Pines Wolverines (4-5) will host the Superior Heights Steelhawks (2-7) at White Pines.
The junior games will tip off at 5:00 p.m., followed by the senior games at 7:00 p.m. Fans can expect intense action so don’t miss out on what promises to be an exciting night of high school basketball in Sault Ste. Marie!
