Russell McNally notched the other helper on the Greyhounds third goal of the contest. With Wolves two on one at 7:47 of the period, Joshua Cholette-Hebert skated around a Soo defenseman to slide Sudbury’s second goal under Zaccuto’s left pad to close the gap to one for Sudbury. Noah Lafrance and Rowan Smith added the assists on Cholette-Hebert’s third of the season. With 3:36 remaining in the second, the Wolves coughed up the puck just inside their own blueline to be picked up by Jacob Vincent to be fired over Richer’s right shoulder to increase the Greyhounds’ lead to 4 – 2. Wyatt Jarratt had the lone contributor on Vincent’s fourth of the season.
