
The Sault Varsity Sabercats are gearing up for another exciting Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) campaign, hitting the road to kick off their 2025 regular season.
The Sabercats will begin their journey on May 17th with a visit to Peterborough to take on the Wolverines in a 4:00 p.m kickoff. One week later, they’ll continue their road swing with a May 24th matchup under the lights in Clarington, facing off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m.
After two road games to open the season, the Sabercats return home to Superior Heights Field in Sault Ste. Marie for back-to-back games. On May 25th, they’ll host the Scarborough Thunder in a noon kickoff, followed by a visit from the Toronto Jr. Argos on May 31st with a 4:00 p.m start.
The final stretch of the regular season will see the Sabercats back on the highway, beginning June 14th with a 6:30 p.m clash against the Huronia Stallions in Orillia. A week later, on June 22nd, they’ll face an early 10:00 a.m start in Belleville against the Quinte Skyhawks.
Sault Ste. Marie will host the Sabercats’ regular season finale on July 5th when their Northern Ontario rivals, the Sudbury Spartans, roll into town for a 5:00 p.m showdown at Superior Heights. The 2025 OSFL playoffs are scheduled to begin the following week, on July 12th.
