SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday the game schedule for the upcoming Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy Final between the Greater Sudbury Cubs and Hearst Lumberjacks.
Action in the best-of-seven affair will feature 7 p.m. starts, except for Game 5, if needed, which would get underway at 7:30 p.m.
It begins Thursday at Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury.
The Cubs will also host Game 2, that goes Friday.
From there, the series shifts to Claude Larose Recreation Centre in Hearst for Games 3 & 4, Tuesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 23 respectively.
If a fifth game is required, it goes Friday, April 25 back in Sudbury with a 7:30 p.m. start.
Should a sixth match-up be necessary, it is slated for Monday, April 28 in Hearst.
It the series goes the distance, the Cubs will host Game 7 on Wednesday, April 30.
The league champion will advance to represent the NOJHL at the Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons, May 8-18 at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, Alta.
All games of the NOJHL Final will be streamed live, and on demand, via FLOHockey.tv.
