On this day of continual solemn remembrance, the Canadian Junior Hockey League, along with its member leagues and clubs, pause to reflect and cherish each of those with the Humboldt Broncos and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League on that horrific day seven years ago, April 6, 2018.
In a moment of unimaginable tragedy, the ongoing sentiments of the entire CJHL, Hockey Canada, as well as our extended hockey family throughout our steadfast nation, remains vigilant to this very moment in time.
The Humboldt Broncos, their cherished family members and friends, along with the SJHL and the community of Humboldt, Sask., will always remain – Humboldt Strong.
With ongoing admiration, the CJHL also salutes each of the first responders, emergency services personnel who provided their invaluable assistance, without hesitation, on that fateful day and who continue to do so on a daily basis.
We Play for Them.
