The Sault U14A Ice Hawks showcased their skill and determination as they joined 42 elite teams from across Ontario at the 2025 Ringette Ontario A Provincial Championships. With divisions ranging from U14 to 18+, the tournament featured high-caliber ringette action and an electrifying atmosphere as teams battled for provincial titles. The competition was fierce, with the top U14A and U19A teams earning the opportunity to represent Team Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships, set to take place from April 17-20 in Pierrefonds, Quebec.
The Ice Hawks delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, finishing with a perfect 5-0 record in round-robin play. Their momentum carried into the semi-final, where they secured a dominant 6-2 victory over the Nepean Ravens U14A – Stass advancing to the gold medal game, the Ice Hawks faced off against their northern Ontario rivals, the Timmins U14A Tornadoes, in a thrilling championship showdown. Despite a hard-fought battle, the Sault U14A Ice Hawks fell just short, dropping a narrow 3-2 decision in the final to claim the provincial silver medal.
