
On a nine-game winning streak, the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) enter the initial Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings for February at No. 1.
In the listings announced Monday, the Golden Hawks sport the best winning percentage in the entire Ontario Junior Hockey League at .867, and have a record of 38-5-2-0.
Tabbed No. 2 in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Greater Sudbury Cubs (NOJHL).
Continuing to top the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League table, the Cubs enter action this week at 35-4-1-1.
Riding a 15-game heater, the Rockland Nationals are starting to run away with it in the race for first in the Central Canada Hockey League and have moved up to No. 3 in the national rankings.
With a mark of 36-5-1-0, the Nationals have not lost a contest in CCHL play since back on December 8.
Slotted in at No. 4 this week are the Edmundston Blizzard (MHL).
The Blizzard have won eight in succession, improving to 36-5-1-1 in the Maritime Hockey League.
Coming in at No. 5 are the Leamington Flyers (OJHL).
With a record of 38-6-2-1, the Flyers have only allowed an OJHL-low 77 goals-against in their first 47 outings this season.
